Our Office’s Safety Precautions

Our office follows infection control protocols recommended by the CDC to help prevent the transmission of all respiratory infections, including COVID-19.  If you have not visited our office recently, you will notice these changes:

Prior to arriving at our office(24-48 hours ahead of time), please complete a coronovirus symptom screening this link will be texted to you with your appointment reminder.  This will be reviewed with you at your check-in.  When you arrive at our office for your appointment, we will take your temperature (via no-contact thermometer) and are asking patients/parents to sanitize their hands and upon arrival to our office.  We are asking our patients(over the age of 2 years old) as well as the parent/guardian that accompanies them to wear a mask or face covering to our office.  If your child is special needs and/or unable to tolerate a mask, please contact our office and we will work to accomodate your child's needs.  

We are limiting numbers of people in our office at this time and are asking that only the child/children with an appointment as well as one parent/guradian to accompany them.  You are welcome to contact our office upon arrival to your child's appointment and we can check you in from your car and let you know when we are ready to see your child if you prefer. You will notice we have removed many of the chairs from our waiting room to promote social distancing.  We have also removed books, toys(that are difficult to disinfect) and magazines from our waiting areas. 

We have staff cleaning all surfaces(including public areas- door handles, chairs and bathrooms) multiple times throughout the day using EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant as well as appropriate disinfection of all tools and equipment.

You will notice our staff wearing N95/Kn95 masks and face shields with any procedures as well as changing gowns, masks and gloves between patients. 

We have also added additional protective equipment to our office.

    1.) We have had Gabrilson's add Air Scrubber to all our central HVAC systems.  Air scrubber uses ultraviolet light to eliminate microbial agents.

   2.) We have added OSOpure air filtration systems throughout our office.

   3) VidaShield light has been installed in our treatment room.  This takes in contaiminated aerosols and eliminates them.
